Each competition keeps its own numbering, paper structure and scoring, so the archive stores them separately rather than flattening everything into one list.
The largest international mathematics competition for university students. Two papers on consecutive days, sat individually; universities enter teams of up to eight students. Problems range across analysis, linear algebra, combinatorics, group theory and number theory at first- and second-year university level.
The world championship of the International Collegiate Programming Contest. Teams of three students share one computer and face eight or more problems in five hours; the team solving the most problems in the fewest attempts and the least cumulative time wins. Universities reach the finals through regional competition. Problems are lettered rather than numbered, and each asks for a program, not a proof.
